The ronin was a samurai with no lord or master during the feudal period (1185–1868) of Japan. The Ronin Samurai would wonder the lands typically as a mercenary or hired body guard. The Ronin where also known for dueling for honor, fame and/or money. One of the most famus Ronin in history was Miyamoto Musash. 

Fu Rin's very affordable Samurai battle armor (armour) or kikou (B003), is hand made by the highly skilled craftsmen of Feng Ling Han Jia, in the Yukinoshita Do style and feature traditional large solid horizontal steel plates around the torso; incorporating all of the elements of a suit of Japanese Samurai armor (armour) of the period.
